Journal Log; Burnt Pancakes and Self Isolation

To be honest this week has been an absolute fever dream. Starting with the college shutting down and forcing the students to evacuate the building. I knew something fishy was in the air but I can definitely say I wasn't prepared for this. After having found out about this virus I know that no one was prepared for the week they had ahead of them. I personally chose to take the week off knowing that I would be at potential risk of carrying the virus and after doing my research I found that it is actually sweeping through the US and killing more people than I would’ve thought. The numbers currently “Self-Isolating” are high and I am happy they are.
I‘ve decided there is no better time than now to do things that I haven’t had the time for the past year due to my hectic schedule and wedding planning. Now that I mention it I have been rocking back and forth worrying if this pandemic will affect my wedding. I try not to think about that too much. on a complete side note, I took the liberty in making myself a gluten free breakfast yesterday. With a sad attempt at banana oat pancakes, I managed to get a sort of decent picture of them. I have also delved back into my art supplies and begun drawing again and I actually have been sitting down attempting to do something new with my hair. i don’t think without this allotted time that I would be doing these things so I can honestly say that I am really grateful for this alone time. Along with the alone time I have been able to spend everyday with my family which has in fact been hectic, but still makes me feel hell appreciative knowing that this may be the last time I get to spend this much time with them before my whole life changes and I move states away. Wow all of this is so weird to type out. I will talk about it more later, but for now, here’s a pic of the burnt ass pancakes. enjoy.
